A little something that came fully formed as I went to sleep one night last month. I wrote it out the next morning in about an hour. I've let it sit a few weeks before doing a mixdown, so that I was focused on the mix and not the score.
But even when working on it today, had to add few little things, like:
- the drum fill at the end
- as well as the little piano bit (downward gliss) and
- the last trumpet solo,
that's an A above super C for it's last note - I'm using Garritan Jazz Band for the instruments, so this is definitely playable. The note would be the equivalent of the 29th fret on the top E string.
It starts in 4/4, moves to 5/8 then back to 4/4 by way of 2/4.
